Matilde Special Edition

The Matilde Special Edition is a collaborative creation between the late cigar legend José Seijas and his son Enrique, crafted at Tabacalera La iSLA in the Dominican Republic. Featuring an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and, for the first time in a Matilde cigar, Peru, this blend reflects both innovation and heritage. As one of José Seijas’s final contributions to the cigar world, the Special Edition honors his legacy, known for revitalizing iconic brands like Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta, and H. Upmann. Now part of Matilde’s regular production, it’s a fitting tribute to his craft and legacy.
